Where the Wildcats Run 2020 We are so pleased to say we have reached our goal for the 2020 Fun Run, actually blown it out of the water, and are so thankful for every single donation! It is much needed this year and our WME community came through again!  We will have a live-streamed fun run awards ceremony for the students hopefully this week! We were waiting on some prizes to arrive still, so weren’t able to do it last Friday. We will announce all individual and class winners at that time and send home the prizes we have. We are special ordering the $200 donor’s socks, so those will take a couple more weeks. Where the Wildcats Run 2020 We have raised $26,846 so far and are so close to our $30,000 goal! ALL donations are due THIS Wednesday, October 21st in order to count for prizes. Parents and family members can donate with a flat donation, donate per lap, or a combination of both! Fun Run Update

We are so proud of all our Wildcat students for running their hearts out on Monday and Tuesday to raise money for their school! They all did awesome and had so much fun! Thank you to all our WME teachers and staff for helping us that day track laps and cheer them on, we appreciate you more than ever this year! Below are the impressive stats from the two days of running (around 6.5 laps equaled a mile): Total Laps Ran – 6,817 Total Miles Ran – 1,049 Average Laps Ran/Student – 17.8 Average Miles Ran/Student – 2.7 Thank you to everyone who has already donated! Where the Wildcats Run 2020 The Fun Run is TODAY for Cohort A and TOMORROW for Cohort B and all week long for e-learners! Our goal this year is to raise a much needed $30,000 for WME, our teachers and students! We have currently raised just over $12,500, so keep up the good work Wildcats! Hybrid families: Students will be running laps during their two already scheduled recess times. Please remember to send your child in: * their new purple Wildcat Mountain shirt * tennis shoes * with a LABELED water bottle or two * with sunscreen applied * with sunglasses or a hat (if they want) E-learning families: Students will be able to log and submit the minutes they spent walking/running during the week.
