Spring BOGO Book Fair – May 4th – 7th
Due to rain forecasted for most of the day today, we are postponing the opening of the BOGO Book Fair to tomorrow.
Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair is a week-long event next week that brings books kids want to read right to our school! With a selection of engaging books for every reading level, this Buy One Book, Get One Book free (of equal or lesser value) makes building a summer reading library affordable and fun.
This week’s book fair will be held outside in front of the school in order to allow for parent involvement. We ask that you adhere to normal school guidelines and wear a mask while shopping. We will be open each day for sales during lunch times, recess and after school. Parents and families are welcome to check their child out for lunch or recess and shop the book fair with them.
TUESDAY, May 4th – 11:00 am to 4:15 pm
WEDNESDAY, May 5th – 11:00 am to 4:15 pm
THURSDAY, May 6th – 11:00 am to 4:15 pm
FRIDAY, May 7th – 11:00 am to 4:15 pm
For your convenience, the lunch & recess schedule is:
11:00 – 11:40 am – 4th Grade
11:25 am – 12:05 pm – 2nd Grade
11:50 am – 12:30 pm – 1st Grade
12:15 – 12:55 pm – Kindergarten
12:40 – 1:20 pm – 5th Grade
1:05 – 1:45 pm – 3rd Grade
e-wallet is available again and is an easy way for your child to shop the book fair cash-free! This video explains how to set it up
If you are unable to attend the fair in person, we invite you to shop our Online Book Fair. The online fair is available through May 8th. Share the link with family for great gift giving ideas and to encourage summer reading. Online book fair sales will be full price and do not have the same BOGO benefit of in-person sales. All books will be shipped free to WME after the close of online shopping and can be sent home with students or picked up in the office.
We will collect change for Scholastic’s “All For Books” campaign at the fair. The money we collect will be used to purchase books for our school. Scholastic, in turn, will match our donations and purchase books for schools in need.
We hope to see you and your family at the Book Fair this week!
Book Fair Volunteers
We are still in need of a few volunteers to help set up, cashier, help the kids and families, and clean up the book fair this week. If you are interested and able to help, see the sign up linked below. Thank you!
