New to the Book Fair this year is Scholastic eWallet, an easy way for your child to shop the book fair cash-free! Simply go to the WME eWallet Website and create a free account, then set a spending limit using your credit card. Your child can then use their account to shop during the week just by telling the cashiers their name! Additional information is in the website link above.
If you are unable to attend the fair in person, we invite you to visit our Online Book Fair. The online fair is available through Saturday, November 9th. Share with grandparents, aunts and uncles for great gift giving ideas!! All books will be shipped free to WME after the close of online shopping and can be sent home with students or picked up in the office.
We look forward to seeing you and your family this week at the Book Fair!
Book Fair Volunteers Still Needed
To make the Book Fair a success, we are still needing to fill some volunteer slots this week to help with cashiering, organizing books, answering questions, etc. It is a really easy and fun job! If interested and able to help, please use the Sign Up Genius link below to sign up for an open slot. Thank you, we so appreciate your help!
All for Books
During the book fair each year, we collect spare change and cash donations for All for Books. Teachers will be collecting in their classrooms until Thursday, November 7th to support All for Books or you may also make a donation directly at the Book Fair when you check out.
With the All for Books money collected, PTO is able to buy books for all WME classrooms and the library. Then Scholastic will match monetary contributions with a donation in books from the Scholastic Possible Fund, which distributes books to children in need!
Our top three donating classes this year will receive 6 books of the teachers choice to add to their classroom libraries for their generosity! We thank you in advance and look forward to giving back to our community!

We are also now looking for some volunteers to help work the bazaar. These are quite easy jobs like door greeters/counters and booth support. Use the link below to sign up. Thanks!
Used Book Drive
As part of Book Fair week and as you buy new books for your children to read, clean out your old books and bring them to WME to donate! There are collection bins outside the library. We will let our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Stickel, go through them first, then donate the rest to kids in need at Crawford Elementary.
Apple Award Nominations
Each year, the Douglas County Educational Foundation takes nominations from each school in the district for their Apple Award. Please take a moment before December 1st to nominate an outstanding WME teacher or staff member to be considered for this award. It’s easy and our teachers and staff really appreciate the recognition! Thank you!
WME would like to help you celebrate special moments with your child by offering a personalized slide on our WME outdoor marquee. For one day, a message to your child will be posted for all to see! This unique celebration is $20. If you have any questions, please contact Whitney
King Soopers Fundraising Program
King Soopers has made big changes to their King Soopers Fundraising Program. Now if your King Soopers Rewards Card is linked to WME, every time you use it, we will earn reward points!
You may register your Rewards Card by going to www.kingsoopers.com and either creating or logging into your account. Once there, click on Community Rewards in My Account and search for Wildcat Mountain, then click Enroll.
From now on, you do not need to load your King Soopers gift card anymore, just use your registered rewards card. And tell grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. to register theirs as well! Thanks for participating!
Wildcat Mountain PTO participates in Amazon’s fundraising program called Amazon Smile. If you haven’t already, please declare Wildcat Mountain Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization as your charity of choice on their website, www.smile.amazon.com. Then save it to your favorites to help you remember to shop the Amazon Smile website every time you shop Amazon! Thank you!
