EduKit School Supply Orders
An EduKit informational flyer was sent home last week in backpacks. Orders this year with this new company are online only and are for school supply kits for the 2017-2018 school year. PTO offers this service as a convenience to families to save time and money. Supply packs are delivered to the school with free shipping if you order by June 1st and will be in your child’s classroom at Meet and Greet. As always, supply lists are available on the WME website if you would rather buy your own to bring to Meet and Greet. If you have any questions, please contact Emy Ross.
WME Activity Calendars 2017-2018
An Activity Calendar order form was sent home last week in backpacks. They are due with payment May 19th. The calendars are filled with important dates for the next school year. Order now to be ready for a fun-filled 2017-2018 year! If you have any questions, please contact Heather Martinez.
Electronic Waste Recycling
WME’s Green Team Student Leadership Team is once again sponsoring an electronics recycling event in the parking lot on Thursday, May 18th from 3:30pm – 6:30pm. R2 Stewardship will be collecting all your old electronics and they will be safely recycled for a $15 donation. All proceeds will go to purchasing an insulator kit for our composter, so the Green Team will be able to compost in the winter!
For a full list of electronics R2 Stewardship can recycle, please visit their website.

Congratulations to Mrs. Goodman’s, Mrs. Messmer’s and Miss Ekes’ classes for winning our class box tops competition for April! They all won a popsicle party!
5th Grade Moving On Party
Our 5th graders are moving on to middle school and we want to celebrate their amazing time at Wildcat! The Moving On Party will be on Wednesday, May 24th at 12:30 at Jumpstreet. Forms were sent home in backpacks. Please return the form with cash payment of $25 by this Wednesday, May 10th to the WME office and complete the online liability form from Jumpstreet. This event is NOT sponsored by PTO or Wildcat Mountain, but is a parent-sponsored tradition at Wildcat!
Garden Recess Workday Volunteers
All grades will be planting the wonderful flowers and veggies they are growing in their classrooms during their lunch recesses on May 19, 22 and 23. All parents are welcome and encouraged to come help! Recess times are from 11:20am – 1:45pm. There are also a few open slots for our garden work day this Friday, May 12th. Please click on the link below to take a time slot to spend time in our beautiful garden in the sunshine, and hang out with some awesome kiddos!
Back to School Bash Committee
Next year is the 20th anniversary for Wildcat Mountain! We are so excited to celebrate this milestone next year as we kickoff the new school year. We are looking for more parents to join the Back-to-School Event Committee to help organize this big event on Friday, August 11th! The committee will be responsible for coming up with the theme and/or idea for the event, securing entertainment, food options and managing registrations. If you would like to help put this together, please contact Dana Schmahl.
