Our students and teachers have benefited greatly from the immeasurable amount of time they have spent volunteering and giving back!

EduKit Supply Kit Orders
WME PTO has partnered with EduKit again this year to offer school supply kits for the 2018-2019 school year! Orders with EduKit are online only. PTO offers this service as a convenience to families to save time and money.
Supply packs are delivered to the school with free shipping if you order by June 10th and will be in your child’s classroom at Meet and Greet on August 8th.
If you place your order between June 11th and July 14th, your kits will include an extra fee and be shipped to your house.
Headphones are a required school supply item for all students. They may be purchased through EduKit for an additional $10 (great price for the quality), you may reuse yours from this year, or buy some on your own.
If you have any questions, please contact Michele Dutcher.
Kindergarten and 5th Grade Moving On DVDs
If you still want one, this is your last chance to order the Kindergarten or 5th Grade Moving On Ceremony DVDs or Blu-Rays! They will be mailed directly to your home and the cost of shipping/handling is included in the price of $20 per DVD. Please complete the online order form by tomorrow, May 31st
Looking for Fun Run Sponsors
WME PTO is already preparing for next fall’s Where the Wildcats Run fun run fundraiser and are looking for sponsors! The fun run will be on Thursday, September 20th. We rely on sponsors each year to offset the cost of putting on the run and in exchange, our sponsors receive advertising to our whole WME community. If you or someone you know owns their own business or works for a company that would be interested in sponsoring the fun run, please email Whitney Nallathamby for more information.
Event Committees for Next Year
Interested in joining a committee and helping us fundraise or plan an event next year? We are looking for some new people to join our Fun Run, Book Fair, Wildcat Bazaar, Father Daughter Dance, Mother Son Event, Donation Requests, and Wildcat Garden committees!
We are also looking for a volunteer to be our DVD Coordinator next year. The more people we have on each committee, the less work for everyone involved!
Committee positions are not PTO Board members and are an easy way to get involved with a small job on PTO to help out our amazing school! Use the Sign Up Genius link below to sign up.
DCSD eBooks in Overdrive
Please read the letter linked below from our librarian, Mrs. Stickel, about how you and your child can access the DCSD eBooks in Overdrive this summer.
Douglas County Libraries Summer Reading Program
Douglas County Libraries Foundation is giving $250 to the school that signs up the most readers for the library’s Summer Reading Program! Registration is easy:
- Visit DCL.org/summer-reading.
- Click the registration link for the appropriate age group.
- Complete the sign-up form, including our school name and your child’s grade so we get credit.
You can also register your family at any Douglas County Libraries location starting June 2nd. Reading during school breaks can be fun and is beneficial for kids. This contest can also be a fun way for our school to benefit! The contest winner will be announced in August
King Soopers Cards
Please remember to keep reloading your King Soopers cards now and all summer long! Every time you reload it, WME receives 5% of that amount! If you need a new card or would like to start participating in this program, you may purchase a $5 card in the school office. If you have any questions please contact Krista Finney.
