All for Books
Teachers will be collecting loose change and dollars in their classrooms from November 7th – 11th. Scholastic will match those monetary donations with a donation in books from the Scholastic Possible Fund, which distributes books to children in need through organizations such as Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. and Kids in Need Foundation. In our top three donating classrooms, the teacher will be able to choose $100.00 worth of books from the book fair for their classroom library! Look for an email blast with additional details surrounding this program.
Our Annual Book Fair is November 14th-18th.Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits. Look for an email blast with additional details!

Silent Auction Donations
Our big family spring event will be March 4th, and the fundraising committee is organizing an amazing silent auction to run during that evening. We would like to ask our school community for any donations for the auction. Some ideas for donations are:
Sporting game tickets – if you have season passes and might be able to donate a game
Gift cards to anywhere!
Kids Activities – if you go somewhere frequently, maybe they will donate something for you Experiences that kids and families would love
Travel – if you have a family cabin or timeshare you could donate a vacation time
Spa gift cards
Golf experience, lessons or equipment
Small business donation – if you own a small business that you could donate an item for the auction
All donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt letter for tax purposes. We will also be doing classroom silent auction baskets – signups for donations for those will be in January. All money raised goes to the school, the classrooms and the students! To donate an item or get more information, please contact Whitney Nallathamby, Dana Schmahl or Jory Hastings .
