Book Fair Volunteers Needed
We are still needing more volunteers to help with cashiering, organizing of books, answering questions, etc. Our volunteers each year are the reason we are able to have such a great book fair for the kids and it’s easy and fun! If interested, please use the Sign Up Genius link below to sign up for an open slot. Thank you!

Wildcat Holiday Craft and Vendor Bazaar
You are invited to our annual Wildcat Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 1st from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm! We have many NEW vendors this year and your favorites from the past! Tell your friends and family and be sure to make time to stop in that day to get some unique gifts or something new for yourself! Admission is free!
Registration is still open for vendors to sign up to sell at the bazaar. We would LOVE more crafters if you know anyone or make unique crafts yourself! If you are interested, please contact Whitney Nallathamby with any questions and register using the link below.
All for Books
Every year during the book fair, WME families come together to donate spare change or dollars towards Scholastic’s All for Books program. With the money we receive, PTO is able to buy books for WME classrooms and for the library! Then Scholastic matches that amount and donates books to classrooms in need as well.
Every teacher has an envelope to collect All for Books money today through Thursday, or you can donate directly at the book fair. The top 3 donating classrooms will receive six books of the teacher’s choice AND a classroom cookie party! Thanks for your participation in helping us get more books in the hands of children!
Used Book Drive
As part of Book Fair week and as you buy new books for your children to read, clean out your old books and bring them to WME to donate! There are collection bins outside the library. We will let our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Stickel, go through them first, then donate the rest to kids in need at Crawford Elementary.
Community Outreach Team Food Drive
Wildcat Mountain and the Community Outreach Student Leadership Team invite you to help us give back to our community. They are hosting a food drive for Catholic Charities Food Bank in Castle Rock through Thursday. This year, they are collecting their TOP Emergency Food Needs. Of course, you may donate any non-perishable items, but to support their top needs, we are asking each grade level to bring in specific items.
Kindergarten: Granola Bars & Crackers
1st Grade: Cereal & Oatmeal
2nd Grade: Tuna & Canned Chicken
3rd Grade: Peanut Butter & Jelly
4th Grade: Pasta & Pasta Sauce
5th Grade: Pancake Mix & Syrup
All food will be collected in the classrooms. Thanks so much for helping those in need.
Peak Athletics Parents Night Out
Save the date of Saturday, December 8th for Peak Athletics’ WME Parents Night Out! Drop your 3-12 year olds (must be potty trained) off to play from 6:00 – 10:00 pm while you Christmas shop, attend a holiday party, go to dinner, etc!
The kids will have full access to their 21,000 square foot gym, trampolines, foam pits, etc! They also will have movies playing in the lobby and serve pizza for dinner. They have a 1:10 ratio of staff so there is always adequate supervision. The cost is $25 for the first child, $45 for two, $60 for three or $70 for four children from the same family.
Look for more details on how to register for this fun evening provided by one of our fun run sponsors soon!
Mother Son Nerf Battle
Wildcat Mountain invites all the boys, and their special ‘dates’ (mom, dad, family member, etc.) to come to a Nerf filled evening! Save the date, we’re going to have a BLAST at the Mother Son Event on Friday, March 29th. More details to come. WME Red Carpet Sweetheart Ball
Save the date of Friday, February 22nd for our Red Carpet Sweetheart Ball! All the little ladies of Wildcat Mountain are invited to bring a special date (i.e. dad, mom, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc)!
If you are interested in helping to plan the Sweetheart Ball, please sign up through the link below. We are looking for help with everything from invitation design to volunteer coordination. A sign up for night of help will come closer to the date of the event. Contact Rebecca Eggleston with any questions.
WME would like to help you celebrate special moments with your child by offering a personalized slide on our WME outdoor marquee. For one day, a message to your child will be posted for all to see! This unique celebration is $20. If you have any questions, please contact Whitney
As you start your holiday shopping this year, remember to use Amazon Smile every time you shop Amazon! And declare Wildcat Mountain Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization as your charity of choice. The website is www.smile.amazon.com, save it to your favorites to help you remember! Thank you!
King Soopers Cards
Please remember to load and use your WME King Soopers cards when you shop there! 5% of everything you load on the gift card will come back to WME PTO! It even works for Click List, just give them your loaded card when you pick up your groceries and they will run in and charge your bill to that card.
If you need a new card, we have $5 pre-loaded cards in the office available to purchase, just bring $5 cash or check made out to WME PTO. Thank you!
