Where the Wildcats Run
Thank you to our amazing and generous WME community! We have reached our fundraising goal of $40,000! The exact amount raised will be revealed at the Awards Assembly this Wednesday, October 3rd at 2:30 pm. All students and teachers will attend and parents are welcome to come as well. At this assembly, we will announce all the awards for individual and class prizes.
We will still take donations if you have envelopes to turn in or you may still donate online. Every dollar counts!
Since we reached our goal, we will be having a school-wide celebration day this Thursday, October 4th! PTO volunteers and Kona Ice will be hosting this for all students. Each student that collected $100 and $200 in donations will receive their prize(s) after fall break!
We wanted to send a huge thank you to our Fun Run Coordinators – Whitney Nallathamby, Jory Hastings and Dana Schmahl. And another thank you to the rest of the Fun Run Committee – Steph Crawley, Jackie Benitez, Autumn Murray and Donna Bigley. We couldn’t plan our largest fundraiser and make it as successful as it is each year without you!
Another special thank you to Whitney Nallathamby for coordinating our sponsors and to Jory Hastings for all her graphic design work designing our 20th Anniversary logo and shirts, the fun run flyer, the sponsor booklet and banners, and our fun run website. You both go above and beyond for WME and are so appreciated!
