We want to again say THANK YOU to our amazing Wildcat Mountain community and sponsors for supporting our Fun Run this year! We once again crushed our goal with $47,856.68 raised in donations!!! That is an impressive number! We will be able to provide the school all the items we promised and more! We had a fun, quick assembly today to wrap up the Fun Run where we announced all the individual and class winners! Where the Wildcats Run  ALL donations are due TODAY, September 23rd in order to count for class and individual prizes. Envelopes need to be turned in today by the end of school and online donations need to be made by midnight tonight. We have almost hit $30,000 towards our $40,000 goal, so get those donations in! Parents and family members can donate with a flat donation, pay per lap, or a combination of both! Donations can be made by cash or check using the envelopes sent home in the fun run packet or online using the link below. If your student didn’t bring home their run bib from Friday and you would like to know how many laps they ran, or if you have questions about donations, please email us. Where the Wildcats Run  We had an amazing Fun Run on Friday! All the students worked so hard and had a great time on the field running and walking laps with their friends and teachers. Be sure to follow our Facebook page as we will post some pictures from the day. They ran an impressive amount of laps and we are so proud of our Wildcat students! WME PTO – Fun Run is Tomorrow!

Our Where the Wildcats Run Fun Run is tomorrow! Please send your child to school tomorrow with: comfortable running/walking clothes tennis shoes a full LABELED water bottle sunscreen on sunglasses or hat (if they would like) Each grade will have an hour time slot on the field. The first 5 minutes will be instructions, then they will run/walk for 30 minutes and finish up with Kona Ice while we record the number of laps for each student. The schedule for the day is: 9:15 am – 10:15 am – Kindergarten 10:00 am – 11:00 am – 4th Grade 10:45 am – 11:45 am – 3rd Grade 11:30 am – 12:30 pm – 5th Grade 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm – 2nd Grade 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm – 1st Grade Parents are welcome and encouraged to come cheer on or run with their student(s) during the day. Please stay clear of the start tunnel and finish lanes and spread out around the track. If anyone would still like to volunteer, you may sign up here. Thank you!

Where the Wildcats Run Fun Run Our 5th annual Where the Wildcats Run Fun Run is this Friday, September 13th! Packets with donation envelopes went home last week. 100% of the money raised goes directly into our school and classrooms thanks to our amazing sponsors. We will be running “Meet Our Sponsors” blasts over the next two weeks so you can read about each one and how they are connected to WME. Please send your child to school Friday with: comfortable running/walking clothes (they will be changing into their School Shirt that morning) tennis shoes a full water bottle sunscreen applied sunglasses (if they would like them) Parents are welcome and encouraged to come cheer or run with their student(s) during the day.
